“A Tergo Lupi” comes from the Latin saying “A fronte praecipitium, a tergo lupi”: in front, the precipice; behind, the wolves.
The project fits within Dark Folk, characterized by dark, nostalgic atmospheres, blending somber synths and chorals with ancient instruments and heavy rhythms.

They frequently use the tagelharpa, shamanic drum, and small percussion instruments to connect with the primordial part of our being. While rooted in the past, they incorporate modern synthesized sounds, choirs, and electronics.
Videos are essential to their music, enhancing and deepening the meaning of their songs by showcasing natural and human-made works. Their music stems from restlessness, darkness, and the search for light, serving as their catharsis and sincerity.
