Creator License for Using Bjorth Music (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok)

As a creator (streamer, vlogger, content producer), you may use Bjorth’s music as background music for your content, provided you fully meet all the conditions listed below.

I. License Conditions (Updated)

  1. Music Acquisition and License Grant: This license is granted only upon the condition that you have legally acquired the specific music track(s) via purchase on our official Bandcamp shop. Proof of purchase may be requested. The purchase itself does not grant any usage rights; the non-exclusive right to use the music as background material is granted only by fulfilling all conditions listed on this license page.
  2. Monetization Permitted: You are permitted to monetize your content (e.g., through YouTube Ads, Twitch Bits/Subscriptions) that features Bjorth’s music, provided all other license conditions are met.
  3. Content ID / Copyright Claims: You are strictly prohibited from registering Bjorth’s music with any Content ID system, digital fingerprinting service, or any similar technology (e.g., through a distributor). You may not issue any copyright claims against other users of this music.
  4. Credit Requirement (Mandatory): You must provide a clearly visible credit in the video description (YouTube, TikTok):

  5. Twitch/Live Streams: For live streams, we require the on-screen display of the currently playing song title and artist name (Bjorth) in an on-screen banner (e.g., via tools like Streamlabs or Lofi.land), so viewers can immediately identify the music.
  6. Purpose of Use: The music may only be used as a non-dominant element (background music, atmospheric accompaniment). The music must not be the main content of your video or stream (e.g., no pure “listening videos” or music visualizers).
  7. Right to Content ID Implementation: Bjorth reserves the right to activate Content ID or similar digital fingerprinting systems on their music at any time in the future. The use of music licensed under this agreement remains permitted; however, this may result in automatic monetization by Bjorth (ad revenue) on the corresponding platform, or the creator may be required to manually clear the claim.
  8. Reservation of Amendment: Bjorth reserves the right to amend these license conditions at any time. The usage rights granted to you are based on the version of the license that was valid at the time of publication of your video or live stream.

II. Permitted Content Areas

The music may only be used in content within the following areas:

  • Background music in live streams (e.g., “Just Chatting” or creative streams).
  • Background music in “Let’s Plays” or gaming videos.
  • Background music in hiking, travel, or nature videos (Vlogs).
  • Radio/Online Radio usage
  • Dance or choreography videos, provided the music is only the accompaniment.

III. Prohibited Uses (Contact Required)

This Creator License does not apply to the following uses. These areas require an individual Sync License. Please contact us for a separate license agreement and pricing.

  • Commercial films, documentaries, TV series
  • Commercial advertising or product promotion for third parties.
  • Physical products (e.g., accompanying CDs, DVDs).
  • Use as a podcast intro/outro or jingle (contact required).
  • Remixing or sampling of the music.
